Step-by-step guide: Connecting Velobox to a tablet and mobile hotspot

1. Set up a hotspot on your mobile phone:

Go to your phone's settings, look for the "Hotspot" or "Mobile Hotspot" option, and activate it. It's best to give the hotspot the same name and password as your existing Wi-Fi network in the studio to make connecting easier later.

2. Connect the Velobox to the PC via LAN:

Connect the Velobox directly to a PC or laptop using a LAN cable. This ensures that the Velobox remains stable on the network while you configure the Wi-Fi settings.

3. Connect the Velobox to the mobile hotspot:

Open the Velobox software on your PC. Go to the settings by clicking the menu next to the country flag in the top right corner. Select the Wi-Fi settings section and look for the name of your mobile hotspot. Connect the Velobox to this network.

4. Connect the tablet to the mobile hotspot:

Go to the Wi-Fi settings on your tablet and connect it to your phone's hotspot. Now both the Velobox and the tablet are on the same network.

5. Use the Avahi/Bonjour browser (if necessary):

If your tablet is older and doesn't support the Avahi protocol, install an Avahi or Bonjour browser to find the Velobox on the network. Alternatively, you can access the Velobox directly via its IP address in your browser.

6. Access Velobox in the browser on the tablet:

Once all devices are on the same network, open the browser on the tablet and enter the Velobox address. Now you can easily start the saddle pressure analysis!
