With the new "Where is my Velobox" application, you connect directly to your Velobox – regardless of the browser used. This means that compatibility issues that can arise from browser updates or changes to operating systems are a thing of the past.

Installation of the new Velometrik App

Installation is quick and easy. Just follow these steps:

1. Download app

Click on the download link: https://downloads.velometrik.de/whereismyvelobox/

2. Select installation file

Download the appropriate version for your operating system:

For macOS: WhereismyVelobox-1.1.6.dmg

For Windows: WhereismyVelobox-1.1.6.exe

For Linux: WhereismyVelobox_1.1.6_amd64.deb

3. Install application

Open the downloaded installation file and follow the on-screen instructions.

Note for Windows users:
In some cases, Windows will display a blue security screen during installation. This is normal.

Click on "More info" and then on "Run anyway" to continue the installation.

4. Start application

After installation, open the application "Where is my Velobox".

5. Find Velobox

After starting the application, the search for available Veloboxes on the same network starts automatically.

If your Velobox is not displayed, simply click the search icon to restart the search.

Note: Make sure your Velobox and your computer are connected to the same network.

6. Establish connection

Once your Velobox is found, it will appear as a black circle with its network address.

Click on this circle to establish the connection.

You can then use your SmartCover BT as usual – now independent of browsers or external software updates.
